Living in Victoria, BC, the shopping is not the best. There is an Aritzia, Club Monaco, and Sephora of decent enough size, but that is really it. As you may have already noticed, my closet definitely reflects so. I've been spending a lot of time in Vancouver lately because both of my sisters live there and their cute offspring to boot. Now with my husband away in Ottawa for the semester, I find I'm ferry bound every chance I get. This last visit I was able to do a little shopping so here is a haul for you.

I went to Aritzia, no surprise, and picked up a few items from their semi-annual sale. More update worthy, I was able to FINALLY check out Oak+Fort in person which is something I've wanted to do for about a year now. I could tell from looking online that I loved this store but I never made an online purchase because I wanted to actually see the quality and fit in store, just in case. Shocker, their clothes are right up my alley!

The Oak + Fort brand is amazing; the design is simple but perfect and the quality is very good. I thought I was going to like the Noul brand that they carry better but it was the total opposite. Don't get me wrong, Noul is equal or better than anything at Aritzia and their clothes looks great, their clothes are great, but the Oak + Fort brand is noticeably better quality and so it won me over more. For more on Oak + Fort's philosophy read here and while your at it, I suggest you buy a sweater or two!!

Below are the items I picked up.
